Once again our veterinary caduceus jewelry was very popular
for the Holidays.

Our veterinary lapel pins were the most popular
item in our collection. Our Customers told us that these items
have been great for practicing professionals as well as students.

Our Veterinary key chains have become very popular with there
cutout style in solid Sterling Silver. No one has asked but we would
be glad to make cuff links or bolo ties or earrings for anyone who would like to have them
as a gift or for themselves. I think there is a possibility of making
a two tone silver and brass(or 14k Gold) piece that would be stunning either
as a pendant or pin.

If you have any ideas for other products let us know. I designed a letter opener
with a caduceus on the top for one customer but with the price of Silver
it would be an expensive letter opener.

We are always looking for new ideas to add to our collection for practicing
professionals or for students. Graduation time is coming soon and our veterinary
jewelry gifts are always popular because they are handmade not cast in a mold.

Do I have a nickel Allergy?

Symptoms of a nickel allergy arise from contact, usually repeated contact with items containing the metal nickel or various nickel compounds.

Nickel Allergy- common symptoms

The most common symptom is chronic itching (purities). The itching is often combined with a red rash, raised bumps and broken skin. Itchy red rash around your belt buckle or blue jeans button that often contains nickel, or an itchy rash around your watch or on the ears in the case of nickel earrings. Itchy rash on ring finger or over areas where nickel-containing jewelry might be worn is often associated with this nickel sensitivity or allergy. Most medical dermatologist can do patch tests to determine if you have nickel sensitivity but most medical doctors do not have a treatment for this condition other than instructing you to avoid contact with nickel containing jewelry, belt buckles, buttons etc. Most Sterling Silver and Yellow Gold Jewelry does not have Nickel in it. White Gold Jewelry has been made with Nickel but new alloys contain no Nickel.
