I decided to create some Mothers day Jewelry for Mother's who have sons,daughters or any family member in the military and who are away form home fighting or supporting one of our branches of the service. ie (Army, Navy, Marines,Coastguard and Airforce. The Idea came to me to create a mothers ribbon with birthstones just like a mothers ring. In this ribbon you would put the mothers birthstone on the left and the son or daughters birthstone on the right. These ribbons could also be worn for a husband or wife that is away. The military mothers ribbon could be a pin or a necklace and you can have your yellow ribbon by placing two yellow stones on the ribbon instead of birthstones signifying the yellow ribbon.
