Sterling silver is a white, highly reflective precious metal composed of 925 parts of pure silver and 75 parts alloy, usually copper. Copper provides the silver with sufficient hardness and wearing qualities, as pure silver is too soft to be used or worn everyday. Sterling silver is used in a wide variety of jewelry for a beautiful polished look. Nickel Silver, German Silver, and other non precious metals are not the same, they have no Silver in them. Brass is sometimes used for the artwork, 14k Gold can be used upon request with an additional charge. Features & Details:
The handmade raised artwork on the Solid Sterling Silver Clip gives the piece its exclusive look.
Construction:
Artwork is appliqued on to the clip by silver solder. This is a permanent attachment and can not be removed. The Sterling Silver is then oxidized to give it definition and warmth.

The handmade clip measures approximately 1.75 by 1 inch Each clip is made with 18ga Sterling Silver (1mm thick)
Care Recommendations:
We do not recommend the use of commercial cleaners on any of the jewelry offered on our web site. Periodic cleaning with extremely mild soapy water (lukewarm or cool) and polishing with a soft cloth can care for your jewelry.
